Don’t feel my best but working on it . Nor expecting feel good factor to fall into my lap but improving every day .CBT working, small achievable goals that aim to break the lethargy spiral and lead to more positive feelings about oneself
I have invested in a meditation app called meditation moments , cost me 22.00 for the year . Worth every penny . Began building on one meditation a day sometimes two . It is also combined with deep muscle relaxation , breathwork and or guided visualisation. Depending which meditation you choose. At beginning of app asks mood then the reason why and how you feel after . So tracks your mood . Can’t recommend app enough
I’m also trying to build a brisk walk into my routine at least three times a week . A combination of relaxation and exercise is a very powerful coping technique to reduce anxiety
Goal setting is also a very important way of dealing with anxiety and important in breaking the lethargy spiral. I have set three goals for myself to do everyday . Sort a load of washing something in garden and some housework. It doesn’t matter how big or small so long as I’m doing something everyday.
