In depression you don’t produce endorphins through night so wake up feeling unrefreshed. But they begin to build up during day . So a person begins to feel better as day goes on . Particularly as day goes on. More so late on .
It is called by psychiatrists as diurnal variation and is experienced in severe depression.
I get this a lot and it’s why I somtines get on during night
Exercise helps us produce endorphins and combined with meditation and relaxation is really good for managing both anxiety and depression
